Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect when you use our website or book pet care with us, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We are a small family business — we collect what we need to look after your pet well, and nothing we don’t.

What we collect

• About you: name, email address, phone number, home address, emergency contact, and a backup person authorised to collect your pet.
• About your pet: name, species, breed, age, weight, sex, feeding and medication details, veterinary contact, behavioural notes, and photographs.
• About your bookings: dates, services, amounts paid, and messages exchanged with us.
• Website usage: anonymous analytics about pages visited, only where you have consented to analytics cookies.

Payment information

Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see, handle or store your full card number. Stripe’s own privacy policy governs that data.

How we use it

• To provide care, and to contact you about your pet during a stay
• To take payment and issue receipts and invoices
• To send booking confirmations, reminders and updates
• To reach a veterinarian on your behalf in an emergency

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with other clients. We share it only with service providers who help us operate — payment processing, email and text delivery, and website hosting — and with a veterinarian if your pet needs care while in our charge.

Photographs

We take photographs of your pet during their stay and share them with you. We will not publish a photograph of your pet publicly, including on social media or this website, without asking you first.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@stayandplaypetco.com and we’ll respond promptly. Some records may be kept where we’re required to for tax or legal reasons.
